The Zipolo Marche Rosso IGP from Il Conte Villa Prandone is an elegant yet powerful red wine blend. Even in the glass, it impresses with an intense ruby red with violet reflections, which reflects its concentration and structure.
On the nose, a complex and inviting bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark forest berries unfolds, harmoniously complemented by noble spice notes such as black pepper, vanilla, and fine roasted accents. This multifaceted aroma stems not least from its careful production, as the grapes are gently processed and macerated on the skins for 20–25 days, before the wine matures for 24 months in oak barrels. A final 12-month bottle aging gives it additional balance and elegance.
On the palate, the Zipolo is full-bodied, warm, and enveloping, with an impressive harmony of ripe fruit, spicy nuances, and a clearly structured tannin base.
