G2 Decking Oil is a high-quality decking oil for native and exotic woods for new and renovation coatings. Perfectly suited for wood decks, wooden patios, facade cladding, windows, doors, garden sheds, half-timbering, and playground equipment. The non-film-forming surface with deep impregnation reliably protects the wood from extreme climatic influences. The oil penetrates deep into the wood capillaries, providing a water-repellent, weather- and UV-resistant surface and preserving the natural structure. Free of toxic active ingredients, odorless after drying, and biologically harmless.

Processing

• Preparation – surface frost-free, clean, dust-free and dry
• Weathering – allow woods with high intrinsic content to weather before initial treatment (approx. 3–4 months for exotic woods)
• Initial coat – apply to all sides, if possible, before assembly; softwoods may require pre-treatment with an impregnating primer
• Application – apply oil thinly and evenly, avoid film build-up, remove excess oil
• Drying conditions – temperature above +8 °C, wood moisture ≤18%, humidity <60%
• Final treatment – increase abrasion protection with colorless G2 Decking Oil
• Cleaning – clean brushes and tools immediately with thinner or turpentine substitute
