Cherry, fruity, tobacco, intense
Product information about "Le Amarene Passito IGT by F.lli Vincenzi" from Cola di Lazise on Lake Garda
The Le Amarene Passito IGT from F.lli Vincenzi is an expressive, traditionally produced red wine from Veneto, which reflects the art of grape drying in a particularly elegant way. It combines concentration and warmth with astonishing smoothness and impressively shows how delicate and balanced a Passito style can be.
In the glass, the wine presents itself in an intense ruby red, which transitions into garnet red nuances with increasing maturity. The bouquet is warm, ethereal and elegant, characterized by ripe cherry, sour cherry, plum and dried fruits, accompanied by fine spicy notes and a subtle depth reminiscent of classic Appassimento wines.
Vinification is carried out after strict manual harvesting. The grapes are carefully selected and then dried for two to three months in wooden crates, with sufficient space between the grapes to ensure optimal and even wilting. After pressing, a maceration of 15–20 days follows at a controlled temperature. The young wine then matures for at least 24 months in oak barrels, which develops its velvety structure, depth and harmony.
On the palate, Le Amarene shows itself to be round, soft and enveloping, with dense, ripe fruit and velvety tannins. The balance between fruit sweetness, spice and structure is very harmonious, the finish is long, warm and elegant – a wine with great character and quiet power.
