The Lirica Primitivo from Produttori di Manduria is a classic, characterful red wine from Apulia, which impressively reflects the sunny power and Mediterranean warmth of its homeland. It is made from 100% hand-picked Primitivo grapes from old vineyards with traditional Alberello and espalier training systems, which gives it depth, complexity, and an authentic identity.

In the glass, the Lirica shows an intense ruby red with delicate garnet nuances, an indication of its ripeness and density. On the nose, it unfolds a rich, elegant bouquet with intense aromas of ripe dark fruits such as cherry, plum, and blackberry, accompanied by spicy notes, sweet spices, and subtle toasted aromas. The fruit aromas merge harmoniously with fine balsamic nuances and a subtle wood spice, which gives the wine additional depth.

The vinification is classic for red wines: After careful harvesting, the grapes are fermented at controlled temperatures (not above ~25 °C), followed by maceration over several days to optimally extract color and aroma concentration.
